- the web
- a personal computer,
- a mobile handheld device,
- or any platform broadly accessible to the open Internet.What’s in it for you?Challenging competition. Potential cash prize. And satisfaction in contributing to a healthier public!The tools and technology products that best satisfy the competition criteria will receive cash prizes ($35,000 in prizes offered) and the opportunity to have the apps featured on the CDC website.You pick the technology and design the idea, we’ll provide the dataApplicants are encouraged to mashup CDC data with any other publicly-accessible data feeds from around the web, and to be creative in exploring approaches for realizing the goals. CDC is asking developers to develop innovative applications with CDC’s flu data.
