In order to give users the most up to date facts, figures and other relevant data, the U.S. Department of Labor has released the Labor Stats App.

The Labor Stats app is available on both the Android and iPhone platforms.  According to DOL:

The Labor Stats Application presents the most up-to-date numbers and news releases for the following statistics published by Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration (ETA) and Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).

•Unemployment Insurance Initial Claims
•Consumer Price Index (CPI)
•Unemployment Rate
•Payroll Employment
•Average Hourly Earnings
•Producer Price Index (PPI)
•Employment Cost Index (ECI)
•Productivity
•U.S. Import Price Index
•U.S. Export Price Index

Download this App for your iPhone and you’ll get immediate access to the DOL’s latest published numbers. You can track certain statistics and get the news releases about the numbers. Plus, you’ll be able to open the releases in Safari or in PDF format.
